Dear Fellow Citizens:

I am running for Congress because I believe I can be of help to the American people. How? I am a sociology professor and have studied our society and how it works. I have also studied social problems and what causes them and what we can do about them. My book, How Can We Solve Our Social Problems, discusses realistic steps we can take to solve or at least decrease the severity of our social problems.

I am reasonable and pragmatic and willing to compromise when needed. I am willing to work with others who have views different from mine and then work out a solution that is agreeable to the both of us.

I will be honest, work hard, and work to meet the needs of the American people.
